Texas Whiskey Revolution for Truth

The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) proposed a new set of “modernization” principles designed to clarify the labeling problems we see today.  The Texas Whiskey Association agrees with the vast majority of the proposed changes with the exception of restrictively defining a “barrel” as approximately 50 gallons in capacity. We’ve submitted a letter outlining our position in support of greater transparency for all whiskey labeling and specifically in support of clarifying to consumers the state of origin for their whiskeys.

We encourage you to read through all of our positions around the modernization of these rules. We care about authenticity, and we’re here to stay.
